Not what you guys, and girls, think, lol. Check out this site for some interesting information about size and movies, etc. It's great stuff if you're into just knowing things to know them. Spidey and some of the other braniacs will get a kick out of it. Here's the link: http://fathom.lib.uchicago.edu/2/21701757/

Oh well, the interest is the bit of suspension of reality, as it is in the movies. Yeah, some of the info is a bit slanted, but most of it was cool, huh? I have to find a way to get a little mouse up to about 10,000 feet and see it hit the ground to test the theory, lol. Maybe I should get the "Mythbusters" on Discovery Channel to work on some of that stuff. BBOriginally posted by BBAddict
I have to admit I'm one of those geeks that found this pretty interesting. I'll forgive the couple scientific inaccuracies!

"I am, by training, an invertebrate zoologist, and virtually all of my research has focused on the biomechanics of marine invertebrates."
Seems more qulaified than most of us to make these theories. LOL
That was pretty cool. I only made it about 2/3 through it though. That's alot of reading and I think I got the point.

Not calling you out at all bro, but I would like to hear your arguments out of interest to the subject.Originally posted by BBAddict
I actually do quite a bit of biomechanics myself-he definitely knows a lot more than I do about the marine invertebrates but lacks some understanding of mammal bone structure and mechanics.

I'm impressed. I knew there were many braniac/geeks on this board, lol. I too am a science and general knowledge geek, lol. I don't know why, but I like to know stuff that makes no difference one way or the other. About the only time it would be valuable would be when playing a trivia game or being on a quiz show, lol. But everytime I see something I didn't know about, it let's me know very quickly just how ignorant I am. You go on all your life thinking you're fairly smart, then read something or see it on Discovery or History channel, and all of a sudden you,re ignorant, lol. BBOriginally posted by shortz
