And you didn't even mention the .475 Limbaugh or the .500 Limbaugh. The Limbaughs are wheel guns based on Ruger Super Black Hawk frames. The .475 Limbaugh packs the most punch in terms of kinetic energy, over 1400 ft-lbs and 2100 ft/sec muzzle velocity. That puts the .44 magnum to shame and I THINK it is the most powerful true handgun.

Many of the calibers listed above are rifle calibers. Outside of the Thompson Contender series of "handguns", I am unaware of any real handguns chambered for those calibers. The Thompson Contenders are just short, single shot rifles in my opinion. Hell, they have 12" barrells and are drilled and tapped for scopes.

Yeah, but holding and firing one sure feels like a handgun. They are relatively light and pack quite a punch. IMO, it's no bigger than a match revolver.
