Posting and privacy

A few observations:

1. Some posters here share some very intimate information to perfect strangers, especially information of a nature that couldf jeopardize their standing in their work/business/family circles.

2. Some posters post pictures in a manner that would make them easy to identify - needless to say, many of the pictures are not in the passport photo genre.

3. Many posters make no attempt to hide their geographical location. Moreover, they provide IM handles that make them easy to identify.

Just for kicks, using Google, I was able to identify some posters down to their real names, addresses, work place and phone numbers.

My suggestion to all is to be careful of traceability - some of you are letting out too much info in my opinion and it may come back to haunt you in this day and age.

Just a bit of friendly advice - take or ignore as you please........

LOL... I think most people are ok - there is really not much info to go with.

But there are some that are wide open - rather injudicious if you ask me....
