My endo told me when I first met with him that when I wanted to have children he would give me something for that. I have never bothered to ask what he would prescribe, but I see him in May and we are going to talk about it in great detail then. I only see my endo every 4-5 months and he is hard to get into see, so I am just going to have to wait until then. I could locate some HCG and get clomid from our board sponsor... I dunno what to do really. At times I think I should self medicate and give myself the drugs and at others I am afraid to do it in fear that one of my docs my find the drugs in my system and then refuse to give me proper meds. Maybe its just a little paranoia.
^^^I think you should wait and see what the doc does for you. If he decides to let it go because of you not wanting kids at the moment, I would def try the Hcg. The longer you go without trying to get your naturaly levels back, the harder it may be down the road. I think you should cycle on and off Hcg in the latter case, probably 3-4 months on, 3 months off, just to save money.
Originally posted by Pumpdogg Hey shortz I was thinking today that I probably need to come off of the androgel, reasoning that it suppresses me just like being on a cycle. I am going to talk to my urologist and my endo about this issue. I don't see my endo until May, and my urologist thinks I am too young for HRT anyways ( he is kinda a prick) so I doubt he will prescribe such for me. My only hope is through my endo, I don't have the resources that I once did for things like HCG... but I am going to ask around locally in the next few days and see what I come up with.
It really gripes my cheeks too, because my urologist always make reference to the fact that I used to cycle steroids and that this is all my fault blah blah blah, and the dude does not think I need HRT, because I am "to young". People like him are dangerous in the medical field.
Thanks for the help y'all
PD
Hey Bro, you need a new doc. Doctors are supposed to help you, not be judgemental and hyper-critical. Tell him to "F" off and find a new one. BB

Yeah but with my HMO he is my only choice I think. Luckily my endo is a great little chipper man. He has no problem helping me like with the HRT and has never said anything negative to me about my past use of drugs. I have already started this process with my urologist, so I am just going to use his test and so forth until I see my endo in May, unless he steps off of his high horse and offters to help me. It would be nice to tell him to F off though.
I do have a question for anyone who may know..... Do you all think since I am on HRT that it may be a large part of the culprit? I was thinking that you need LSH and FSH if my memory serves me correct on the name of those hormones and since I am using exogenous hormone everyday, my body is producing little to none of those which again if my memory serves me right is needed for sperm. Kinda like being on juice lowers sperm count etc... I think I am in the same catergory as someone who uses and never cycles off. What do y'all think??
Dude - my advice (not a doctor, but i did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night!) is to be off everything and test again before you worry about having zero count.
Do you have a hot tub? I ask because if you sit in a hot tub often it kills your sperm count. I don't know if it would have enough to bring it down to zero but it makes a difference.
I learned this from a freind at work that was trying to have a baby. A doctor told him about hot tubs and a little while after stopping hot tubs they were able to conceive.
hope this helps some. good luck with the retest.
Been away for a few days and have not been on line. My doctor called me yesterday and said he thinks I have steroli cell only syndrome which means that I am pretty much screwed if it is the case. I had another sperm count of 0. I am going to have my FSH LH and Test levels checked Wednesday to conform his diagnosis of "steroli cell only syndrome" or not. He told me that if my FSH was double what it should be then my body would not be responding to the hormone ( no feedback) and increasing levels to try and get me to produce sperm.
Do you think the cycle of m1t and 4ad in December could be causing this and or making it appear that I have this "steroli cell only syndrome"? I ask the doctor what causes it and he said it was genetic and the possibility of conception was low even with very aggressive procedures ( harvesting my sperm and in-vitro).
So there you have it boys.... we will see what the FSH levels show... if they are normal then I am inclined to think that the years of cycling off and on aas has been detrimental to the olé sack... :D
Thanks guys, and yeah it is funny how I am hoping juice has caused this issue BBADDICT.lol Whatever the deal I will let everyone in on the gig when I find out.
