  • What do you guys eat for Easter dinner?

I usually do all the other major hoidays but this will be my first Easter cooking for the family. What do you guys usually have for dinner on Easter?

We usually have a big baked ham, new potatos, green been caserole and whatever the other family members bring. Oh....and desserts!

Hubby wants lassagne and I want lamb. I need more ideas, not everyone eats lamb and I'm not even sure what a good side would be for lamb.

For us, it's the same ridiculously huge feast we have at most holidays. Basically, it will be the same dinner as last year, except this time I hear my mom is going to add (!!!) turkey to the menu because my grandmother missed it last Easter.

we throw a huge family gathering. Foods are bbq meats like fajitas, brisket, sausage, beans, rice, candies, mashed patato, chicken salads, fruit salads, beer, cokes, chicken, and more bbq meats. I love Easters:)

I'm really wanting to avoid the same stuff I make for Christmas and Thanksgiving (turkey, ham and those fixings). I'll have to include stuffed mushrooms but those are appetizers and I don't mind repeating that stuff.

How about a big Easter BBQ? Like hamburgers, hotdogs, steaks, chicken, sausage and stuff like that on the grill. Its definitly different.

We eat all the bad fixn's. I live in kentucky and let me tell you these women just love to cook deserts like they are going out of style, and they all want you to try theirs or they get offended.lol. We will have ham, and some type of chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese etc...

                      PD
