  • Bonds said he was physically and mentally "done," (How stupid can the media be?)

"The San Francisco Giants slugger also said he was physically and mentally "done," and blamed the media for at least part of his troubles."

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2018994

I watched the interview on SC and I just wanted to shoot all those fuckers asking questions. Bonds said "My son and I are just going to enjoy our lives. You guys wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got me." Then the media asked "Who finally got to you", like they had no clue. It was as the reporters were trying to get him to say that they won their mission on destroying Bonds's career.

Ah, he's just exhausted from everything. After he heals up and has some time to relax and think about it, he'll be back for the season, he's too close to breaking records to give up an entire season.

I believe the word he used was "tired". He also said the media has "hurt" him. He has only hurt himself. Wanting his son in the frame as they interview him and speaking as if he was in a library.....what fuckin' smuck. Walk away Barry......please just walk away!

Yea he is to close of getting caught. He knows it was juice that hit all the home runs. I (my opinion) dont think its right that a guy has to juice to beat records like that. Look at willie and babe, the only thing babe juiced on was cold beer and a t-bones. I agree bad, he needs to walk away.

How did DiMaggio hit so many homers in bigger ballparks with only a thin build?

I agree, Bonds is probably dirty, as are possibly as many as 50% of pro competitive sports players. These guys want any edge that they can get to make the big bucks. I say let them do all that they want, as long as they REALLY know what the attached dangers are to steroid abuse. This has little to do with the influence of kids in sports, IMO. It has more to do with distracting the public from real domestic issues at hand such as jobs, lack of a universal health care coverage system, prescription medicine prices, trade imbalances, environmental health concerns and immigration/border control. No big industry lobbies are hurt financially by attacking steroids in sports and Congress looks like they're looking out for our well being come the mid-term elections.

I hope all sports players juice, who cares what they do to THEIR body. I don't think the Babe had badass technology to make better bats and balls either. So, really can't just blame everything on steriods. The whole game is changed. But OMG he is a hero!? What sports figures aren't heros they are people that are paid way too much money to play a sport.
