my point is there is no need to sue...unless you actually contracted something that would be an actual "something" to sue about. People are so quick to jump and demand money "owed" to them. There are other methods but they take time and effort which are what people are short on in todays world.

No.
I'm with Stone on this one and I wouldn't sue unless there was some real harm done to me. As for getting sick from a finger found in something that's been cooked, I seriously doubt that's gonna happen, it's just like any other raw meat that's been cooked.
I was eating an ice-cream cone once and bit into it and nearly broke a tooth. There was a black knob that had broken off and got frozen into the ice-cream. I went back to the shop and told them to check around for a missing knob. It probably didn't get into the ice-cream there though, probably got in at the manufacturing plant.
There are definitely too many lawsuits.

I don't think I would but who knows. I guess it would depend on how discusted I was. I mean there is such a thing as psycholgical harm; not just physical harm. If I found that I could never again go out to eat for instance without breaking out in a cold sweat, that would decrease my quality of life and could may even affect other aspects of my social life. In that case, hell yes I would sue.
On the other hand, if I got over it quickly and it didn't affect my quality of life, I would have no rational reason to sue (other than pure greed). Since I don't consider myself the greedy sort, I don't think I would sue in that case.

I do think that people are too quick to sue in this country, I don't doubt that. But, this is DEF one time that I feel a lawsuit is in order. Now, am I thinking millions of dollars? No, that's rediculous, but, I think there should be atleast thousands of $$ involved.
