Ever Heard the Saying.......

That death comes in threes? I am a firm believer of this. Within the past month, at work, we have had three people die. Our head girls coach had his father pass away. Our head groundman had his mom pass a week later. And this past Tuesday our booster club president died.

Now...if this is the case. Terri Schiavo passed, Johnny Cochran passed. I am willing to bet that there will be one more death in the news before long. The Pope?

Pope's a safe bet, Bad. He's been sick for so long. I'd also bet on Mickey Rooney (damn, he loks old on those commercials for life insurance) or Ed McMahon...even Dick Clark.

Duh....;) I know people die but from my experiences in life with death is that they have always came in threes and not 6 months apart.

Well, I was reading on the pope's condition. It looks very likely that he could pass before the end of next week from hear failure. This is just my interpritation though.

do you mean only people you know or see on tv? because thousands of people will die today alone. we would have never heard of terri shiavo if the media hadnt grabbed hold of that story like a pack of wild dogs.

He will die today bro most likely. His heart has stopped a few times already. His organs are all failing and the infection is still running threw his system.

Either one. People I know or relatives of people close to me. As for people in the news it has usually been celebrities. When I was a kid my grandfather, grandmother and aunt, all on my dads side, passed within 2 months of each other. When I was 18 I had 3 very close friends die within 6 months of each other. In '97 my dad, my stepmother and my grandfather, on my moms side, died.And now at work we have the 3 people die I mentioned in my first post!

People do die every minute of every day (as people are born every minute too). The 3s concept comes in when it relates to famous or known people. They seem to bunch together. But, like Bouncer says, it's mostly because the media will point out who just died.

Yes I've heard the saying. And it does seem that way. I cant think of any specifics but I can recall noticing other instances when this has happened.
