Does anyone know if there is a way that we can trade x-box games directly with someone... online i mean, I have like 40 titles, but Im missing a few that i cannot find and i was wanting to trade with people??? just curious... I already checked the torrent sites listed on here.

has anyone modded their xbox? i was thinkin about it and wonderin if it was worth it and how difficutl it is and how much it would cost.. id like to do it if it wont cost me a lot and if i can do it w/o probs

I am just buying a premodded Xbox. I don't know how to solder and if you fuck it up, the warranty on the Xbox is shot.

I'm sure if you ask around someone you know will know a guy that will do it for you.

I was trying to find some very rare games.... My girlfriend doesn't like the sports and shooting games, but she digs the racing games. One day she played some seadoo racing game and was hooked. I was hoping I could find it someone on the internet... score brownie points..etc (can't my drift, LOL)

I donno man, sodering it is the hard way to go about it..IMO. I soft moded mine, That way if anything happens you can scratch it all and restart, this way its reversable...
And I have tons of racing games, I just need some way to transfer it to a single individual.... I dont want to seed it to 1000's of people.

is there a difference between puttin a modchip in and softmoddin it... cuz i just wanna be able to play backups or save a game on my hdd... thats it, i dont care about anything else

Putting a mod chip in is hard moding (hardwear and you have to soder a chip in) and soft moding is just hooking it up to your computer and modding it with softwear...I think its easier, in the end you get the same result..
Do you mean you want to save a whole game on your hard drive?? Beacuse I belive it is easier to just burn the copy so you own it for good and it doesnt take up all your space,
When i used to put a whole game on my hard drive I could fit 1 game max, but now that I burn, I have a collection of 60+ games... Donno man hard moding is just risky because you soder the wrong thing you cant go back and fix it... $$$ mistake... Soft modin you can... Oh yeah 1 more thing, Some of the games now are big and to save the whole thing to your harddrive takes room and some dont leave enough room to save your game progress...

aight thats what i wanted to know... i jsut wanna be able to burn a game and play it, or d/l it,burn it and play it... i'll prob just soft mod it, ive been readin about it and it sounds a lot better/cheaper/easier
do u need a dvdr burner or can u use cdrs? and what software did u use?
i know how to hotswap my xbox so besides that i think the rest of the process is with the software

you def need dvd burner and dvd's, Most x-box games are im the range of 1.5 - 4 gigs, and cdr's are only 700 megs, some games like The guy game, espn 2k5 football and the bards tale are over 4.7 gigs and you have to know how to reduce file size to get them to fit on a dvd.....
Ya the rest like you said is with softwear, I have 6 emulators on mine Gameboy, nintendo, supernes, n64, sega master system, genisis, and they all have tons of games (so i can play all the old school stuff) they are very easy to get on bit torrent sites....
If you get everything figured out and need some emulators and games I can send you some of the old systems and games because they are sooooo small most can be sent over email or msn...good luck buddy

Right now I am downloading Splinter Cell- Chaos Theory. Next will be Halo 2 (I want to see what all the fuss is about). After that I don't know where to go.

haha here ya go WAR GAMES: Mercenaries, Call of duty, Counter strike, Ghost recon 1&2, Nemisis strike, Brothers in arms... Creepy games: Doom3, Cold fear... Racing: Need for speed 2 underground, Forza motor sports, Mx vs Atv, Burnout 3 (Is a must have) if you have not tried it go rent it or buy it you will not be sorry..... anyways more racing Midnight club 3 and nascar 2005....And just some more notables: Def Jam, Rocky legends, Fight night round 2, X-men legends, Prince of persia 1&2, Demon stone, The punisher, Kingdom under fire, Unreal championship2, Predator, Area 51, Pariah...... Thats some of the best out right now IMO and all my buddys like them... acomical one is lego star wars.... But trust me man Burnout 3 is a must have, it is soooo fun along with Forza motor (Its the grand terismo) for x-box..... I would send a bunch if i found a way.... I wounder if msn would be able to handle a whole game???? .......
