Heys guys I am bringing this thread back to life... I have downloaded Azureus, as well as WinRAR.... I have yet to make a successfull download from isohunt though... I have one that is at 99.9% and it quit, tried forcing it and nothing...
BTW what is a screener??? I did not see that on the fourm at iso...
Should I be looking eleswhere too instead of just there???
I thought House, Bouncer, BLM, Rude etc... could send me in the right direction since soo many of you all use this type software...
One last thing if I donwload a movie, will I have to convert it to a different format to burn and watch in other DVD players??? and can I use a dvd for like a box set of music, or does it have to be cd to play in your car, walkman etc...Sorry for the rookie questions

PD
Usually that last 2-3% takes the longest to download. Depends how many seeds there are that have the full file. A screener is a movie that is given to the critics before it is shown in theaters. Technically a very high quality bootleg. If you're into getting videos that are only in theaters and not out on dvd yet, get the screeners. They're usually hard to find and you may not find one for every movie you're looking for. If you're downloading movies, then try to download one that is in ".iso" format. If you download it in anything else like avi or mpeg format, then you'll have to convert it to an .iso image to be burnt onto a dvd. You can burn music onto a dvd, but you'd have to have a dvd player in order to play it. The player in your car won't be a dvd unless you put one in there.
Thanks allot guys, what about this??
I dowloaded a Matrix soundtrack, like 3 cds, but when I double click the password info file it says
"Windows cannot open because a system service is not running
To start this service open help and support"
I cant find what it is talking about.. I am using winrar
BLM do you reccomend any other different software than what I am using?? Azureus and WinRAR??? I downloaded something else yesterday... winace, but it was not good for .rar files from what I had read on their own forum.... Just trying to make this as simple as possible
Thanks BeefCake, that is what you use for the torrent files once downloaded?? I will try it next, I can always delete them all and re install the one I like best.. Thanks again for the help, this aint like Napster, or Kazza was many years ago..
All I use is Azureus as my client and winrar to extract .rar files. I haven't realy been doing too much dl'ing lately because I'm out of hard drive space.
Putting a mod chip in is hard moding (hardwear and you have to soder a chip in) and soft moding is just hooking it up to your computer and modding it with softwear...I think its easier, in the end you get the same result..
Do you mean you want to save a whole game on your hard drive?? Beacuse I belive it is easier to just burn the copy so you own it for good and it doesnt take up all your space,
When i used to put a whole game on my hard drive I could fit 1 game max, but now that I burn, I have a collection of 60+ games... Donno man hard moding is just risky because you soder the wrong thing you cant go back and fix it... $$$ mistake... Soft modin you can... Oh yeah 1 more thing, Some of the games now are big and to save the whole thing to your harddrive takes room and some dont leave enough room to save your game progress...
Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I'm interested to know more about this. How do you do it? What software do you need?
