If you go to a decent Italian restaurant you can avoid the heavy carbs by getting a good veal with mushrooms and some italian seasoning/sauce that'll be damn good but not a ton of carbs.
    Absolutely!
If your gonna go to a chain Macaroni Grill is better tasting. Same old high-carbo stuff.

It does suck B. Take it from me. I went recently to one and it was nasty. Go to a real italian restaurant. Not some chain like this. They are hardly a step up from Taco Bell. You might as well go to Shoney's and get Lasagna. It may be better. The bread sticks were nothing to write home about and I could have made a better salad at home.

:agree: I don't know why everybody loves their bread sticks--it's been awhile since I went to one, but I never thought they were special. I'd rather have the olive oil and pepper on fresh bread at Macaroni Grill if I have to do cheap italian.

If I would rave about any Italian restaurant franchise it would be Carraba's I could eat their chicken bryan 7 days a week.

Olive Gardens' bread sticks are pretty shitty.

Reading this is a challenge....I think we all are saying this in a polite way. Someone said it best its the Taco Bell of Mexican food.

I can't stand the "your here you family" slogan. There blatant attempt at embracing Italian culture with those ridiculous comercials. Fake Italian chefs. Give me a break. The OG is about Italian as Momma Celestes microwave pizza or Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and meatballs. Its Italian food for the the naive. So if you dont know better - Magiamo! The OG should be forced to remove its Italian Resturant label. It proves anyone can make Italian food doesnt mean its good. Ive been to Italy and trust me their are no Olive Gardens. If they do they have olives on them and they are in the hills of Tuscany for making Olive Oil.

However in some parts this is all they got. Plus the price is very reasonable especially for families. They obvious arent going out of business so somebodies eating their. If you know what to expect the who cares...
