The '64 Malibu is one of my absolute favorites. I like the shorter look with the straight body. I was looking for one for a few years to drop a 502cu in but couldn't find one that was straight and I really didn't want to cut up a pure stock one either because they are getting pretty rare now.
A 383 is a stroker motor...nice. Put a pic up if you get the chance, NJ, I'd love to see it.

hey primal i put 383 in cuz i blew my superchagred big block up few weeks ago but if ur still lookin for one mines forsale lessmotr and trans i got 10 pt cage and 2x3 boxed rear frame rails tha ti subbed in 9" ford shorted 1 18 15 inch mickey t's i got pics ill show u but i dotn have a scanner or a digi to put them up? let me know
and lookin for juice its a 50's panhead (harley for u jap shit riderslol) its pan head stroked to 93 cubes 10.5 -1 comp std dula plug 3-5/8 bore heads fully ported and polished (race prepped ) s&s fly wheels jims rods wiseco pistons velvet tocuh pushers 4 speed kicker trans jims gears 130 rear tire stock fl springer front with 12" baby apes ...

Nice to see some others into cars as well. 383s are sweet, torquey. I had mine stroked after I spun 2 mains 3 rods and cracked the crank ( lost oil pressure at over 100mph).
It was killing me with the car sittin in my garage for a year before I had time to get it together and running, but boy was it worth it. I put on ported heads port matched intake and a custom grind cam that I already had in and all the goodies.
All I need now is a rear end that will take the abuse Im about to put to it and some slicks and shoot for some mid 11s this season.
BTW I dont have a problem with imports just ricers and the fast and furious people. I can respect the fast ones but around me they are rare.
