this thing is unreal. i travel alot on weekends so i got this psp and the graphics and screen clearity are top notch. so for you guys that like viedo games and travel i say look into it. it also plays mp3s and movies are comming soon.

no thats one thing that suxs after you spend 250 for the game you need to buy special games im no tech guy but there small lil disc not sure what there called. its well worth it if you have to sit on a plane alot. watching movies gets old this is something new for me so i love it.Originally posted by beefcake

I would hold off on buying it right now, Microsoft is expected to make an announcment some time at the end of may, Many people believe it might be about a handheld so like everything the prices will drop, but for the price and how easy it can be scratched (just wipping it off) its not worth it to me...IMO,
Has anyone heard about the nintendo's next console they are talking about making it a new way people will play video games, im scared because last time they did that we ended up with Virtual Boy.... Oh well they need to pull up their pants and get in to the fight, MORE adult gaming like resident evil (not porn) since some of you were thinking that.... ;)Comment

I actually bought a PSP a few days ago, it uses a small disc called a UMD, universal media disc, which is a joke because it's runs using proprietary software, so there's nothing universal about it. you can buy things to protect the screen, so that shouldn't concern ya too much. the games & movies right now are a little limited, but there's a shit load of new stuff in the works. it's like any console though, you'll pay for it and THEN have to buy games.
like anything technological, wait around a while and it will go down in price. it'll be interesting to see what microsoft comes up w/, but for now cardio is a frickin breeze while i'm playing it. excellent screen, does draw a lot of attention, overall i'd only be happier if it weren't so expensive.Comment

yep i took my first trip it was only a hour and a half but didnt even notice the flight. and usally i cant sit still on a plane for 10mins with out cramping up.Originally posted by lxorl
