An interesting guy just checked into the hotel I work at.

He looks about late 40's. He just got a room here, because he was planning on walking to a city that is 32 miles away. It got a little late and his feet were hurting. Don't know where he walked her from. He's from southern cali, paid with a gold credit card and also got a number for a car rental place. He looks decently groomed, his backpack is newish, so are his shoes. It almost seems that he is just walking around states.

I think I saw something about a similar guy (or maybe this guy) on TV. They said he planned on walking across the country to lose weight. Said he wants to get back into the shape he was in when he was in the marines. The guy on TV was kind of heavyset and starting in California.

Could be him.
