The guy isn't even looking at Sheffield. I just saw it on ESPN and that guy was making the same motion that all the other guys along the fence trying to grab the ball were making--he just happened to do it when Sheffield was right there--definitely didn't look like a punch.

May be overpaid (as every pro athlete is) but he doesn't get paid to have to deal with fans physically interfering with his play on the field.

It seems pretty obvious that he does.... until they put up plexy glass or some type of barrier, dealing with fans is a part of his job. Might as well earn his money somehow....
