                          fact of the day: the pope went to african villages that were plagued with aids and told them not to use condoms because the only acceptable catholic form of contraception is abstinence... many consider him responsible for genocide because of this

                            Don't count on it. He has already expressed his negative opinions on, for example, Buddhism.

                            I don't understand why some religious leaders don't accept that there are many paths people take to God and leave it at that. Why knock another person's belief system down to further your own?

                              The whole purpose that the RCC (Roman catholic church) has is to convert people. They don't go dorr to door, instead they go over seas to weaker nations and try to sway them.

                              If the Early RCC knew of Pope John II's feelings torwards Jews and other religions, they would be rolling in their graves. He was VERY far and few in the Catholic church.
