    YTD (33-33) +$174

    today:

    Seattle Mariners +112
This play comes down to Jaime Moyer. Moyer was excellent vs the Angels in 2003 facing them 6 times and in 5 of those starts he went 7+innings and allowed 2 runs or less. Last year in four starts he was real shaky in the first two but rebounded to pitch well in the last two. Now the Angels have had trouble hitting LHP to date with a .222avg and a .618 OPS. They will probably have four LH bats in the lineup with Erstad,McPherson,Anderson, and Finley. That leaves Figgins who is struggling from the right side, Rivera and Molina both off to slow starts, and Cabrera and Vlad both guys who numbers are well below where they usually are vs LHP. Kevin Gregg is a solid pitcher but really came into Spring as a reliever and I dont know if he could even go 6 innings yet. Leaving teh middle innings open to some medicore relief pitching.

    Washington Nationals -129
First the silly trend....Washington is 4-0 in Game 2 of Series this young season. Then we have Livan Hernandez who since the start of the 2003 season has faced Florida 10 times and gone 6-4 but all 4 losses were by 1 run @ Florida. He is 4-0 at home vs them while the O/U is 3-7. Florida has struggled to hit RHP so far .235 on the season but just .167 on the road and .224 on the last 10 games. Like the fact that Wshington has 6 LH bats they can use tonite.

    Under 8.5 -102 Washington
Moehler has looked solid in his limited work and the pen will have to keep this one in tact. In 4 games Washingtonhas manged just 6 runs with 4 coming yesterday. Hernandez has been very solid in his career vs Florida.

    Cubs -135
Wood couldnt hold the lead yesterday but hopefully Prior can. With Claussen on the hill Nomar, Lee and Ramirez need to step up. Claussen was awful in 2003 but he was pretty solid in the Spring but will it carry over? Not much to say other then Prior looked ready last time out an the Cincy lineup is in a mini funk of
    late.

    Orioles -131
Obviously cant feel comfortable with Ponson but its the fact that the O's are facing a LHP SP. Both SP have not really faced anyone in the starting lineups so that will keep me away from a total play. Just think Baltimore letdown after sweeping New York and will bounce back here tonite.

    BlueJays +122
Halladay seems to be back in form. Bronson Arroyo strugled at Fenway last year pitching much better away. It seems that trend has reappeared already this season getting hit hard vs NY at home but pitching well in the Skydome. Dont want to get crazy fading Boston so I will keep it small. LAst year 5.35ERA @ home with a .291BAA compared to 3.05 on the road with a .214BAA. At home vs Toronto last year 12innings with 18hits and 9 runs while at Skydome he spun a 3 hitter covering 8 innings!

    Yankees -260 and -1.5 Runs -132
Lets not get crazy with Bullshit reasons here. Randy Johnson vs Hideo Nomo on 3 days rest! New York after last nites thrashing has now won every home game vs TB since the start of the 2004 season. That makes 4 road games @ Boston and NY where TB was never really competitive IMO. The bats woke up lets hope there is a little left in the tank.

    Twins +110 and Under 9 +102
El Duque beat them already and Radke lost to them. Radke's numbers are misleading IMO as he has just allowed some HRS at the wrong time. Both teams hve struggled vs RHP but I like what Minny has to offer from the LH side more.
