I don't have sound on this comp, so I will have to wait. Does it seem the shot is still in his leg?

I wonder if it wasn't a scare tactic. He was saying it was an unloaded glock. Showed it as unloaded supposedly. Then there is now a bullett that shot him?

:agree: Funny how none of his assistants even went to see if he was ok! Don't you think if he had really been shot they would have stopped leaning on the wall to wrap up his leg! All just a demonstration!

I've seen this one before. What a dumbass. There was obviously a round lodged in the chamber. I don't think it was staged because I don't think permission would be granted to discharge a firearm in the classroom; not even a blank. The legal risk would be too great. The school would get hit with so many lawsuits for mental anguish and hearing imparement it wouldn't even be funny. A .40 cal pistol discharging in that closed school room could easily cause hearing damage. Also, the pressure at the muzzle (even without an actual bullet) would cause significant damage to that guy's leg; he certainly wouldn't do it on purpose.

There is a legal risk any time you allow someone to take a gun in somewhere and there are kids! I would say that this video was made way before all the school shootings started happening. And the fact that not one person moved to render aid is an obvious sign that it was fake! All in all, it was a poor demonstration for gun safety!

It's real, he's actual DEA and he has since been suspended. You can google it and find tons of news articles. It's this kind of shit that gives gun owners everywhere a bad name. You can see in the video he racked the slide but didn't drop the magazine, so when he released the slide he chambered a round. Pretty fucking basic and unexcusable.

See, that's the other thing I was wondering. If when he said it was unloaded (to me means no clip and none in the hole) if he meant it was unchambered. Since it was his side arm I would have thougt it was loaded, just not chambered. Either way, when I have seen demonstrations, the instructor never used his side arm as an example. Always had an extra gun that was UNLOADED.

I was amazed that the DEA agent allowed videotaping of covert operatives in the first place. That jeapordizes his life, those of his family and everyone that he comes into contact with, especially when he shoots himself in the foot in an occupied classroom. Talk about disciplinary actions, lol.
