It's a boy!!!

We had our sonogram today and it was clearly a boy. Most likely going to be named Nikodem. We will probably call him Niko for short most of the time.

Congratulations man. My wife will have her sonogram in a few weeks and we might find out what sex it is then if it is turned right. I am kind of hoping for another son but it is only a slight preference and for sort of shallow reasons, LOL.

1) I am the only son of an only son of an only son. I am sort of hoping to break that cycle. Having the entire family name rest on your survival is a lot of pressure, LOL.

2) I REALLY don't want to be dealing with a teenage daughter in 13 years. I would be a complete wreck. Dealing with one tempermental woman is quite enough thank you. Not to mention dating. She would hate me for terrorizing her boyfriends (anything physical beyond holding her hand may result in sudden and immediate dismemberment).

I know I am probably over-reacting though. Whatever it turns out to be I am sure I will be wrapped around it's little finger in no time.

Congrats man. My wife also just had her first sonogram, they think its a boy they say its still to early. Have to wait till the next one to make sure.

But I'm with spidey, I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with the daughter I already have in about 13 yrs so this one better be a boy.

Thanks everyone. Now (to my request) his grandmother in Poland is going to make him a blanket that says "Chic Magnet" :P. When it came down to the last couple days I was more excited about find out what it was than what I wanted. All in all, I was able to feel my excitement more probably becuase it was a boy. The thought of having a girl, made me nervous since I have no idea how to raise a little girl. Having a boy just put my mind a little more at ease.

Congrats man Our first was a boy. It is great to have a hboy first so if you have another and it's a girl he can protect her when your not around to.


Did you guys have a video done of your sonogram or was it just pictures. For my son we had pictures but for my daughter we got to have a video it is pretty cool.
