I had a britney spaniel growing up. I'm not sure how much there personalites match, but I know she had a lttle depression when the cat died. But my brother and I still not being in our teens, we gave her enough attention.

Two more hours until I pick up our new puppy! I just went out and bought a new food dish & collar (puppy sized, of course) and two IDENTICAL plush squeaky toys- one for each dog. With any luck, my dog will start eating regularly again. He is down another 1.3 lbs in 2 days. That makes for a total of 6 pounds in a week now. I think the new little guy will lighten his mood significantly.
