  • Good Work out songs

So, I got an IPod for my birthday, and I LOVE IT. It's like my AMex card....I never leave home with out it.

I have about 200 songs on it right now, all different genre....Rap, Rock, Alternative, even some Techno.

There is one song called "Sugar Daddy" I've been trying to find. It's a techno song that was big about 5 years ago....goes something like "Sugar Daddy....set me free"....and then explodes into some techno jive.

    Any other suggestions?

If it is the song I am thinking of it was by Paul Van Dyk...he is a DJ that takes songs and turns them into trance, house, electronic, techno! So look for him then look for the song sugar daddy!

I wanna get an Ipod but they seem expensive and I don't know what size to get? Any feedback on size and what you paid for it would be great.

RS, I would load mine up with two extremes of music. Sometimes angry white man music (GNR, Metallica, Korn, Nickelback, etc.) pumps me up more but sometimes calmer, almost ballad type music with lots of emotion (Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen) is really effective. One of my favorites is the compromise of the two--a Metallica performance with a California symphony!

Well, my husband bought me the Ipod mini for my B-day. I bought him the Ipod Shuffle for his. They are both as easy as turning on my computer to load music onto. Here are pros and cons to both:

                  IPod Mini: ($199 1000 songs)

Pro's: easily choose your songs my toggling through various lists, can make your own song lists, several other features like alarm, clock, games, calendar, can purchase a car adapter to play in the car.

Cons: can sometimes take awhile to scroll through to find your desired song

                  IPod Shuffle: ($99, 240 songs)

Pro's: continuous play, very small and portable. *One big misconception w/ it was you didn't have any song choice; hence the shuffle, however, you can shuffle all songs, or continuous play them

Cons: unable to scroll and find exactly what song you're looking for, no car adapter.

So, if you just want it for working out, the Shuffle may be just right for you.;)
