Anyone like the band Anberlin?

True they do have a top 40's sound to them especially the likes of Cold War Transmissions and Autobahn - not a fan of these songs. No, the vocalist doesnt sound exactly like Maynard (hes Maynard and unique). My only observation was Anberlins vocalist clearly has a christian influence (already mentioned), but at times has the depth and gravity of Maynard. A bit darker. I think this is why Anberlin at times has a more distinct sound then just any other pop/rock band.

While Im a Maynard fan, too much Maynard can give on a headache. There's no other band out there right now, albeit rock, alternative, emo or whatever that sounds like Anberlin.

I'd have to disagree with you there. There isn't anything that really separates them from any other mediocre pop rock band. I'm not saying they suck because they don't, but they surely are not anything special or unique.

I have quite a few times actually. I don't think they're a bad band just nothing special is all.

I know what your saying but its def. a welcoming change from the emo teenage angst "I hate my parents" record label templates you hear on the radio all day. Anberlin doesnt get much radio airplay. you have to be into music to even have heard of them. They may not be for you but its unfair to say they are just another pop-rock band like Sum41 or Nickelback.

Speaking of music I heard the new NIN is quality.
