  • Marvel Comic Cards

So I came across my comic cards from when I was a kid. They are 1990 Series 1 marvel cards. Does anyone know where I can find out if they are worth anything? I can't seem to find anything on line.

I found mine a couple of years back, and when I went to the comic store to see what they were worth, the salesguy almost laughed at me. At that time I think they were worth less than the paper they are printed on. I dont know about now. If you find out anything let me know. Im going to Vegas in June.

That means there is so many out there still that people are holding onto. Will probably be another 10 years before most are lost or trashed.

Hey shib, I was collecting comics when I was 12 13 years old and I ran across the box, I sold each one seperatly on e-bay and you get everyone buying anything on there, If you have a cam take some pics and throw them on.... You never know what will happen.....

From what I remember, it was wizard magazine that was the price guide for comics and comic cards.

Dontcha love when you type out something then hit the wrong button and it erases your whole post? I just had an orgasm because I love it so much!!!

Anyway, my prize posession in my card collection happens to be my Silver Surfer Hologram card. It was the first hologram card ever to come out. It's funny, cause it looks cheap, but it's vintage. I also have the H4 hologram of Spiderman and Venom fighting and a kick ass looking foil of Wolverine and Sabertooth. Of couse, I have a shit load of others too, but they aren't as cool.

Now comics...I have a few grand worth of comics and that's not from volume. I have the introduction of Venom and a few others.

Those prices are ok for the average person, but they are usually marked high in that book. There is another book, can't remember what it's called, that has more accurate prices and comes out quarterly or monthly that goes on auction sales.

Thanks guys. I wasn't really interested in selling them. I still enjoy having them, I was just curious if they had any monitary value.

Def. I like having something that everyone wants more than knowing it's worth alot of money.

Shibby I have that same set, full with holograms. I actually have like two of them. Mid 90's they were worth like $2,000 a set, but nowadays they may be worth $100 at most. I have a huge comic and sport card collection. Gonna save em for my kids, or if they become worth something again.

I had started a comic collection back a few years ago. I have most of them but they're mostly DC Comics. I have the first 11 issues of The New Adventures of Supergirl from the 80's. Even the one where they introduce the new Doom Patrol.
