Very original hlcn8, I wish I could mooch off of other people's originality as well as you can. And yes, I do have a small penis, but that doesn't make me wrong.

Psyko1, when GreekTank typed that I have balls (which I do, thank you very much sir) what he means is that, unlike some of you pussies, I won't make sure my comments are censored or BOUNCER-approved before I post. So suck it.
This guy is the reason birth control exists. Probably an only child who had no one to play with and his parents probably had to tie a porkchop around his neck just to get the dog to play with him. LOSER!

Wow, what a guy you are. Its people like you that screw these boards up for people that actually lift weights and are into this lifestyle. Fucking pathetic. Go join a board that talks about britney spears all day. This is a bodybuilding board, not a sanctuary for fucking geeks.

                  Yeah...o.k...

Knox if I were you and seeing this is merely a transportation issue in regards to this new job I would do what you first mentioned with fixing the Honda or the other vehicle and take the new job, that is if you are still interested.

you know what knoxville. if you haven't already made up your mind i say go for it. between home, school, and work, i drive 100 miles a day mon-fri. and i have a northstar engine. i only spend around 60 bucks a week on gas (premium) which really isn't much. if you have a v8 engine keep your rpms to around 2000-2100 and you'll get the best gas mileage. my car can hit around 75mphs at around 2050rpms. it really isn't as bad as you think. the pros really outweigh the cons in your situation. not sure where you live, but for me the air conditioning would be enough of a reason to go. good luck bro.

Wow.... I haven't checked this post for a few days and it blew up. Sorry people, I was looking for advice and things got into a pissing contest.

I went Friday for a 2nd interview with the V.P. of the company. He also owns most of the company. He was a real down to earth kind of guy. I related to everything he said and nothing went over my head. I was pleased with the interview (about an hour). I did like the incentive program. He is starting to incorporate incentives into the projects people take on. In other words, if your project is good and the return investments hold up and the profit is there, then you get cut a bonus check based on a percent of return. Not a bad deal in my opinion. Right now, I don't receive anything. I'm working on a project right now that has the possiblity to be a $200,000 cost savings/yr. I wish I could get 1% of that. The V.P. offered to move me to the town, which is only 40 miles away, but still cool in my book. He said that he has to contact the other Manufacturing Engineers and speak with them on the subject. This week he will let me know one way or another and if there is an offer, it will be in the mail. No salary numbers were specified, but he did say that they have an average turn over rate of about 7 yrs. I asked how they keep their turnover rate that high and he said that he likes to pay people well enough to where no one will think about leaving for more money. Sounds good to me. Here where I work, turnover rate is about 6 months. The only thing that I can do right now is wait. I'm going to take the offer if it's decent. I'm looking to be right around 50,000$/yr + incentives + gain sharing and profit sharing. Not bad in my opinion for one year out of school. I will definitely be ahead of my peers for a little while. Thanks for the comments and I will keep you all posted on the job.

I drive an 03 Silverado SS that has been modified a little. Horsepower is right around 385-390 right now. With 93 Octane, I can average 16 MPG on the highway. If I drive normal, I'm around 15 at the best. With a truck like that, how can you resist not to get on it once in a while. It's basically the Corvette of Trucks for Chevrolet. Awesome truck, so many heads turn, it's a blast to ride around in.
