  • PEOPLE help me!

now i think im really fucked up, i consider myself used to be a dedicated bodybuilder, for 3 years i havent miss a day of training. i used to eat 6 meals a day (clean food) now, i dont know why, i start drinking.. constantly use marajuana, smoking cigarretes, ecstasy... im just not as motivated as a used to be, i havnt compete in almost two years, i really dont know what to do... i really need help

You're in a very tough situation. Looking at all that, the ecstasy is a major vice to overcome. What got you into it? Just partying and the next thing you know... You are never as fucked as you think you are. How long has this been going on and how often is "constantly"? Be completely honest.

Well take it from a sober ex user, that the one week is tough espeacially at the begining, but you should still have alot of strength to fight it. Stop the alcohol, you will always make bad decision there. I hate to say it this way, but use the weed as your crutch to stay off the ex if you feel like you need something. But of course try to go this one week without anything. If you make it that far without to much trouble push for a second week. This is a tough thing because ex feels SO good how can you resist? Right? I would like to encourage you to PM me and talk with me day to day. At all costs try and take a couple weeks away from those who might make you feel tempted. I could go on forever about this and how hard it is and how support can realy help. But I would like to hear a little more of your feelings first.

Remove yourself from the environment where all this is happening! Cut those people out of your life that are offering you these drugs and asking you to go out and drink. Right now you still have enough sense to see what is happening to you and see that you are headed in the wrong direction. It's not too late to turn it around. You know you have the problem, NOW get help before you hit rock bottom.

PM Shibby or myself or talk to family or friends....just TALK TO SOMEONE......NOW!

Hope your doing better... I'm glad to see you are reaching out for help... I agree, loose the friends that are doing all these drugs... maybe keep a journal and write down your thoughts and feelings. Maybe you'll realize that there is something else causing you to want to get high.

I hope you are doing well!

CS, there's help out there. Programs for jsut about everything. But they all require that you take a hard look at yourself, figure out what makes you hurt, why you do what you do, and really understand why you need to change what you're doing. Nobody can do that for you.

I've been there, and I know guys who hit bottom and never stopped. You have to be ready to stop. Get out of the drugs and the partying. Some of us just can't handle it. Get into a healthy life so you can live long enough to enjoy life.

Talk to people and get some therpay or join a program/group.

Bro..marijuana? ecstacy? c'mon get a grip here, why are you doing this shit? do you know that ecstacy will eat away at your spinal cord? I know people that can't even stand still for a few seconds to engage in a conversation with someone, and gitter like crack head's. I'm going to give you constructive criticism by saying: you need to get yourself counselling fast bro, for the betterment of yourself and your well being.

He dosn't need an ultimatem with more pressure. He just needs to decide to make a change.

i agree with most of the posts. weed isn't a physically addictive drug i don't care what anyone says. it's mentally addictive. i started smoking when i was 16 and smoked until i was about 22 i think. and i smoked everyday (believe it or not) and i smoked alot. i was a heavy user. yes there are places for addiction but i doubt you need it. those places are better used for alcoholism, heroin, crack, cocaine addiction, etc.... drugs that will make you sick the minute you are off them. JUST STOP SMOKING, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. the x, i used to roll ALOT. for two-three years straight. and i never felt i was physically addicted to it. you just dropped one last week and now you "need" another one? not true you "want" another one because you liked the feeling. duh, it feels great. but that's one of the drugs that you just have to stop doing. you don't necessarily need to not hang out with those friends, you just need WILL POWER, and SELF CONTROL. THAT'S IT! you say you want to stop here, well do it. you're not on anything that requires "help", or an intervention. both of those drugs are mentally addictive, obviously since you say you want to do it again. Look stop drinking, stop smoking, and don't buy anymore x. that simple. either way goodluck and just keep in mind that it's all in your head that you want to do it again.

and i disagree with using weed as a crutch, not a bad idea in some cases, just totally unnecessary in this case.
