i would like to see the shape martinez came in with, he was a little off in his last few shows. Of course he was up against dexter and cormier who were both hard as hell.

Damn, Ahmad Haidar placed high this time.. I like his physique, but they never place him higher 'cause he's never too heavy.. Could this be a change toward more of an asthetic look? :)

Ahmad looked great, it could have gone to him just as easily as it went to Darrem. Victor Martinez was a bit off again. I think he should have been placed as high as fifth. But he is a local so the crowd was behind him. I'll see if I can download my pics later tonight.

Will Harris walked by me outside the venue and I didn't even recognize him because he looked a lot smaller. When I walked inside I realized it was him and spoke to him for a minute. He was not in the best of moods and was visibly disappointed but he said he will be back but has to take a different approach next time. He then went and sat by himself for an hour away from everybody.

Thats ashame. From what I hear, the lighting at the show sucked ass and washed everyone out. I still cant believe the show was held at a college hall. lol

www.flexonline.com has a huge photo gallery from this show.

In my opinion Ahmad should have won. I also liked how Caprese Murray came in fifth to qualify for the olympia and beat out Chris Cook who came out sixth and didn't qualify for the olympia. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, Chris Cook should not have won the overall at nationals 2004, and yes I was there to watch it.
