houston drive time?

thinking about a move to north houston. conroe/ montogomery tx and was wondering about the drive time to houston from montgomery/lake conroe.

Home for me is the north side of the lake. Depending on time of day and exact destination in Hou allow for at 45 min from conroe. Add 15-20 to that if coming from montgomery. Comin back is the bitch. Anytime after about 3:00pm the traffic coming in thru the Woodlands to Conroe is gawd awful on 45 north.

thanks! wife doesn't want to have to drive like she did from tampa to st. pete....takes 1hour and 15 min to go 20 miles!
