F1 racing actually can be exciting for the racing :P I like to watch Nascar personally. Probably because it's what was around me growing up. But my friend watch alot of F1 and I would watch some of the bigger races with him.

half the cars go one way on the track and half go the other way so they have to avoid head on collisions. :D

Hmmm... I have always found F1 races to be total snoozefests because of a total lack of passing - who wants to see a high speed train for the whole race anyway?

F1 rules are to blame - bad track layouts, unfettered use of technology that allows tremendous disparity between the haves and have-not teams, 1 set of tires per race, wing design that eliminates the ability to draft, etc. etc. I think the Indy league has a much better idea of what it takes to make highly competitive exciting races. And while I am an open-wheel racing fan and don't particularly care for NASCAR, it certainly is a great spectacle.

She's easy on the eyes, huh? LOL. Danica almost won the Indy 500 yesterday. A few more laps under the caution flag might have saved enough for the end. She was leading the race up until the last 5 or 6 laps but was losing some speed in the middle of the turns because the fuel pressure was getting low (she was practically running on fumes) and when she finished, the crew said she had about a teaspoon of fuel left in the system. The guy that won ran out of fuel and had to be pushed into victory lane, lol.

The race yesteday was actualy an Indy car race. They tend to have alot more passing because alot of their races are on nascar-type tracks as aposed to raod courses
