For the most part i am very good at eating, i eat strict clean foods and a shit load of them....But it seems like when im away and cant eat good, so i eat less, my weight drops very fast. This weekend i lost 3lbs just because i couldnt eat like I usually do. does this happen to most of you? I know im loosing muscle because my bf stays about the same. Is it because my weight is higher then its naturally supposed to be and my body is trying to fight it off? I have a very high metabolism also, so that could be it. Oh, and I didnt gain the weight back either.

:agree: Any time I do a couple low carbs day, I immediately lose about 5lbs of water. I don't think it's possible to lose muscle that fast immediately. I have found during my travels that even from one and sometimes even two weeks of less than ideal eating and exercise, muscle loss is minimal. I just did three weeks in Asia and was not able to eat or exercise properly and that's the first I've noticed muscle loss. probably water and all the food you poop out man. I havent trained in 3 weeks but have been eating so so, still take in my shakes and proteins and havent lost a pound. Im a bit softer, not as hard nor cut, but the size is still there. But if i stop eating my 5-6 meals its a different story, the weight goes down fast.

I can lose weight pretty fast if my diet goes to complete shit, but everybody's right..... it's mostly water...... after the hurricanes this year and I didn't have any electricity for 10 days, then I did lose about 10 lbs, but I did look alot more ripped!!!!

Only been off a week, got a deep-tissue massage last week, and had to flush out the crap that was released.. Tired, sick, and hungry was not a good feeling while trying to bench..
In regards to the thread topic: I only diet 6-8 weeks to get ready for a show, but I change my eating weeks before to ensure I don't lose too much muscle when I start hardcore cutting..Last edited by bigpetefox; 06-02-05, 11:07 AM.
