cool man, just be careful. i know to many people that have really been hurt. i had a friend fall off his hayabusa at about 145mph. luckly he had the full gear on and walked away with some bad scraps and a broken leg.

 all I can say is how envious I am. I love them all. My favorite that I can afford is the GSXR. My favorite over all would be an Aprilla. I am now when I don't want to take the risk. But I have ridden alot and there is nothing like it.

I hope you stick to wearing that gear everytime. Hell it goes over your clothes so why not? People get to relaxed with riding then next thing you know there are having skin graphs. From exp, I wouldn't worry about praying daily. Be knowledgable about the risks, but as soon as you ride scared you need to stop.

Ride with the Reaper bruh!!!! I love riding as much as anything else in this life, but as my age, numerous wrecks ( yes I said numerous) and most recent "attic bungee jumping accident" I think my days may be over... I still have one left and setting in the garage.... but.... I think it is time to pass the torch

BTW your riding gear will and can save your life... trust me on this one, if it were not for helmets alone, I would not have much face left or brain which my wife questions regualry... It only takes a split second and you are eating asphalt and dodging oncoming traffic... Not trying to scare you man, just respect the ride and ride within your limits and not those around you.....If you abide by that rule it should help keep you safer than most freshies.....

                    PD

I know it's a saying, but, I don't agree with that. The chances are high that the least you do is drop the bike, but, I know of guys who have been riding for 30+ years that have never been in an accident.

On the other hand, there was an accident here last night. A couple riding in the evening and a deer ran out in ffront of them. No helmets and the man may have brain damage.

its definitely a matter of when and not if, there are 2 types of riders, those that have gone down and those are going to go down. Experience and good decision making can and will save your life if the situation were to arise, but it really does suck that there is not much you can do to prevent some asshole pulling out in front of you or not stopping. I was at a stop light on my fat boy, and a semi didnt stop and ran my ass over, I was holding on to the bumper trying to keep my legs out from under the tire, talk about some scary ass shit. Luckily he was not going that fast but needless to say it was a damn 18-wheeler. About 6 years ago I was riding through a wooded area with a girlfriend on the back and came up over a hill to see a small deer standing in the middle of the road, couldnt stop so I just dropped down a gear and cracked the throttle to build up some momentum and smacked the thing right in the back end and sent it flying into the ditch, I didnt even go down or anything. It really freaked me out that there wasnt even a scratch on my bike. I stopped to see the deer and both of its back legs were broken so I felt really bad, I grabbed a big branch to put it out of its misery but I couldnt do it so I just went up to next town and called the cops to take care of it. That was actually before the semi, so after the semi I tatooed a guardian angel on my back because I know that my mom must have been watching out for me in those couple of times. Dont want to freak you out but just be careful, by far the good times and experiences on my bike far outway scary experiences.

just keep it shiny side up brother

that's what I used to own until I crash it and almost killed myself! Some of you might remember my accident about 2 years ago....broke 6 ribs, collapsed my left lung and had my spleen removed....fun times!

But I got back on the horse...but sorry to say I don't ride any more....moved onto bigger toys!

                          be careful :elephant:

Rcmp said he caught me on radar going 230km in a 110 zone, said he had caught me from on top of a bridge and by the time he got off the bridge i was long gone... I had to slow down because i was entering the city limits thats when i saw the pretty lights behind me... damn fun toy... sold the bike the next summer..
