Bad bad day..

Well this morning i woke up to the sound of little birdys outside my window, went downstairs and my wife made me a shake and some eggs and toast..Damn good morning....so far. Anyways this week I have the honor to work at a water treatment plant (they recycle all the citys water before going back to the river) and yes there is poo in it. Well I was welding on a beam around a formenting tank and i fell in (ya haha) boss told me im lucky because it was somewhat clean (not clean enough for me though)... so I got all cleaned up and finished off my day. On the way home I was rubbing my neck and noticed a lump about the size of a marble :eek: so i went to check on it and now they tell me i have to go in for tests first thing tomorrow morning..thats my day and now that i vented I feel a little better :hang:

Well I am going in for surgery on the 13th of this month for the lump to be removed.. They think that it is cancer .....WTF Man im 25, I hope to god its not but the doc says he has to cut out 1/2 of my thyroid just to be safe... argg I was stressin about money all the time and now this....Wish my only problems now were being broke. Oh well time to think positive. Later

That's tough, best of luck to you! The key to surviving cancer is discovering it early which I think you have done, so keep your chin up and spirits positive.

I'm sorry. Try not to freak, many cancers respond to surgery, some need further treatment but catching stuff early on is really helpful with a successful recovery. I'll be sending positive vibes your way. Wishing you the best!
