I admire guys that aren't out there getting on with everygirl they see. I was a virgin till 19. That was by choice too. My husband has only been with 5 women and I have only been with 4 men. I think it's something you should be proud of and some girl is going to be really excited that you waited and weren't a man-whore.

Is it becoming more and more uncommon to be a virgin at 18, yes. Is there something wrong with it, not at all. I was a virgin until I was 16, and as I'm sure you can account for, that's still pretty old by most standards. When I was growing up, my brother and I moved around alot. Because of this, we were best friends. He is 2 years older than me, so I always hung out with an older crowd. I would hear them all talk about thier first time. They all said they regreted it and wish they would have waited so that it would have meant something. Well I didn't want to make that same mistake and I waited until I found someone that I was ready to have sex with. Looking back I am very happy I did. So just do what feels right, and you will be just fine.

There is nothing weird about waiting. I applaud you! My ex boyfriend was my first and i was his first we both were 19. You will find that person and when you do you will know that you are ready. Don't rush it!
