You could have had Sana make one for way cheaper, but then it probably wouldn't have made it to him. :P

Sana left him because he told her he was my baby's dady. That's why you don't talk to her anymore :D

Thank you, Puddles, I was getting really confused--I had all these plans for Sunday! Aren't mothers day and fathers day always on Sundays?!

                  You're right, they are.

I'll try to edit the title of this thread so no one else is confused.

                          Ditto.

Seriously, I've been in a bit of a pissy mood for the last few days and I know why, I just miss my own father. Next week will be 2 yrs. that he's gone and I still cry and talk to him (I have his ashes in a special place here) when no one's around. This week's really been tough. I didn't see him on his last Father's Day because I was in NY for a wedding and he slipped away a week later the day before we were supposed to get together and I sat beside him in a coma for 3 days until he passed. It still hurts terribly, every holiday, every family gathering, and he's just not there anymore.

I have a cd by Evanessance I got on that Father's Day when I didn't see him and it still haunts me 'till this day. The cd, if you listen to it from the voice of a person who's trapped in a coma calling out to you, just kills. I hear the songs as if it's my father crying out to me to help him. It happens to be my daughter's favorite cd (and one of my own as well) and while she knows it reminds me of my father, she won't understand how strongly it effects me until she's older. I don't want to tell her now how it relates to my father and have my thoughts change her perception of the music she so enjoys.

Cherish the moments you have with the people you love. You never know when you won't have them here with you anymore.

He was the best! He had a hard life but never let it show. I miss him something awful, especially now that he'd be able to appreciate my daughter and their similar sense of humor. She's at the age where he and I became closest and I know how much they'd enjoy each other's company now. Dad used to say I was his best friend, I think he'd say the same of my daughter if they had a chance to grow together just a few more years.
