Anyone from Phoenix that knows about the college's?

My girlfriend and I are looking to move there next year. She was looking to play basketball at Grand Canyon University(only D2 school in the area from what I found). My grandfather says they are having trouble with chapter 11 right now. She wants to play for a D2 school not a D1 so her life won't revolve around basketball and she can work harder on her acadmics. Now she is not even sure if she will want to play anymore after this year, but we will deal with that when the time comes. But if she dosn't she will need academic scholorships and there are alot more options for schools in the area. She has i think a 3.83 gpa, and is international. By the time we go there she will have and AS in telecomunications and about a years worth of biology. She is looking to get a BS in biology and then move on to her grad program in Biotechnology.

I know the girl to guy ratio is 3 to 1...hope you have strong will power.

lol, I have been partying in Scottsdale before. It is very nice. Fortunatly I do have strong will power to just look and not touch. Oh I guess I didn't mention that the rest of my family lives in the phoenix area. That's why we would like to go there. Never lived there, but I would like to become closer with all the family I have there. Everytime I visit I don't want to leave and my family makes me feel like I grew up with them.

I was stationed in AZ and it's definitely one of the places I would consider settling down in.
