For the most part there isn't anything spectacular about most plays. It would be like showing a 5yard post pattern to a reciever. But SC number one play of the day was another player jumping up at the fence and catching the ball before it went over. That has to happen a few times every game. So why is it even notable.

Usually they show the top plays from the day before. You would be surprised at how few great plays, or should I say "outrageuos" plays, there are in a baseball game, plus the fact that there is no hockey plays to show, no NBA moments or too much of anything else. The boys of summer are pretty much all they have to work with right now!

I see what you are saying Shibby, but I think we tend to forget how good these guys acutally are. They make difficult stuff look so routine and it's really not. I don't know if you have ever attempted to catch a fly ball hit by a pro, but it's hard. You have to judge the ball just right and timing is everything for those wall leaps. Compared to football it sucks though, LOL.

what about some of those sick catches or big triple plays, in every sport theres great plays, and in hockey, some of those tic tac toe passing, its amazing what pro athletes can do, ohh and its funny you mention fighting in hockey its harder then it looks... football on the other hand, is far superior of a sport huge hits amazing individual athletes great tactics... all around even golf has some sick plays hole in ones, ... pretty friggin impressive.
