HBO Real Sports Talks about Steroids

The new episode last night talked about steroids and how the whole idea that they are killers
has gotten blown out of proportion. They talked to several proponents and one was a 70 year old
man that has been using for like 50 years and has never had any health issues. WOW!

They also talked about how before the government deemed them harmful and illegal, the DEA and
another governing body said that there was nothing wrong with proper steroid use.

One more thing they informed me of was that Lyle Alzedo did not die from using steroids. I guess
that I heard it in the media so many times that I just believed it was true.

Did any one see this show last night? I was trying to find the transcripts for it to post on here
but I can't find them. Anyone know where I can find it? It would make for some good reading. I looked
on HBO.com but they don't post the transcripts there.

From what I know, he was a closet fag. Always hanging out with gay guys and such. Supposedly he really died of AIDS and he blamed it on a rare brain cancer that was caused by GH of the 80's when they were using GH from dead bodies.

Not to hijack this thread, but I keep seeing that commercial about that show, 30 days with morgan sperlocker, the dude who ate mcdonalds for 30 days straight, and they keep showing how they're going to put this guy on hgh for 30 days and see what it does. Just trips me out. Of course 30 days isn't long enough for him to see good results.

Damn good show. I was amaazed that HBO showed steroid use in a positive light. Even though I don't use, I felt at least a little vindicated in as far as being a bodybuilder and wrestler.

On Real Sports they said Lyle died of brain cancer. They also said that none of the coroners reports said it was due to steroids...NONE! They also showed these guys going to Mexico and stocking up on gear....almost as if they were letting people know how to go about getting them.

THat guy is an idiot, He just put a negative spin on steroids just like the media did. And of course they had to have that kid Taylor Hootens (kid who killed himself because of steroids) parents on there to talk about what steroids did to their kid. It's a shame they lost there son, but that is why steroids shouldnt be taken by kids, They are already moody and hormonal to begin with and they start introducing foreign shit into their systems and there going to explode... anyway, back to 30 days, I think some of that shit may have been staged, like the parts where he's "roid raging", that wasn't roid rage he was just a little stressed out because of his pain in the ass wife. God, talk about dramatics, she made it look like what he was doing was tearing the family apart. She was jealous of that fine ass cardio trainer though, and I thought they were gonna go blows at the pool.
