I must be weird...I grew up on electric...and my parents have a nice flat top now...I know it takes extra care but i have hated gas stoves for the last 6 years i have been in aptartments.

well as long as you know what your getting with a flat top and you dont mind, get what you like, your the one that will enjoy it. when are you moving by the way? our house will be done in late aug. thats when our closing is.
