David Letterman Question

I saw a late night show on CBS when David Letterman was gone one night and Paul Shaffer hosted the show for Dave. He had a gay actor on there and they both talked about being openly gay. I have a friend who swears that Paul is married to a female and has kids. He has heard David kid Paul about his kids. I think he's full of crap and want to prove him wrong so bad. Does anyone have a respectable link or news story about him being gay? If I can e-mail him a link to website that is a respectable source, it would stop the arguing.

Just cuz he is married w/kids doesn't mean he isn't gay. I work w/a guy that is a faggot and yet he is maried and has a son. Not that I agree w/it, but it is what it is. Paul Shaffer did write the song "It's Raining Men."

I also work with two guys that are gay, one is recently divorced and has two kids, the other one is married and has one child. I am willing to bet that the first one was confused while he was married, the other most likely fooled around with a woman and got her preganant and married her because he thought it was right for the child. He is still married and seem very happy though. He simply put his son in front of his sex life I guess.

I don't think Paul Shaffer is gay. The guy who co-wrote It's Raining Men is gay according to the gay site I found that talked about another song they wrote together, but they described Shaffer as "the ever strange Paul Shaffer". I think they would have definately said he was gay if it were true (or confirmed).

I don't think Shaffer is gay. He's maybe metrosexual at best. Gay guys are much cooler than he is.
