Windows Media Player does not support file Ext.

I just finished downloading a complete double album.107K......Now it wont play because of a ext WMP doesnt understand..Is there anyway to fix this?Do you think its compressed?If so how do I decompress it?

What type of file is it? If you can't download a codec for WMP to play it you can try converting it to a WMA.

thanks im going to try these codecs.....WM just tells me it was compressed by a codec WM does not understand or support
