I think Disc. channel is a little late. Shark week started this weekend here in N. Florida....2 shark attacks already. One 14 year old girl has died from one of the attacks.

Well this episode was based on myths around the movie Jaws and a great white.

Can a shark pull a boat backwards while it is at full speed forward - False

Can a shark hold those yellow barrels underwater - False, it could take it down but not hold it under

Could a shark destroy a shark cage - True

Could a shark bust open the hull of a wooden boat - True, not quite as drastic as the movie though.

Would a scuba tank blow up if shot with a gun - False, it will put a hole in it and turn it more into a rocket effect.

Does punching a shark make it go away - True, not necessarilly in the nose, but when they tested punching the gill area it made the shark go away for a bit.
