its a good movie but I get so frustrated watching it. The whole situation was just so messed up. Those guys were in a bad situation. Shouldn't have been there in the first place but they weren't given the authority that they needed when they were there.

Good movie. They've been playing it on fx for like the past week. I sometimes wonder to myself, if I would do the same thing that eric bana does at the end, when he gets some grub and then goes back out again, no sleep, no rest, just back out into the same shit. That either takes balls or a don't give a fuck attitude.

I didn't think much of Black Hawk down. It is a good movie, but to me it was too real. I was in the Marines when it came out, getting ready to be deployed on ship for 6 months. It was just too real, because I was a ground pounder and trained for helo insertions. Some things just hit too close to home.

Yep, it is a good movie. Made me realize that I should respect our men and women in the military. The year it was released I was on a downwind stretch of teen-age rebellion then.
