Well today I'm driving and all of a sudden there's this huge sound like a gun going off......I look in my rear view mirror and I see that my back window is completely shattered and the only thing holding it together is my tint....
I look in my side mirror and I see this old man riding a lawn mower on the side of the road close to rocks....I turned around and went meet him and showed him what happened. He wanted to give me the number to his lawyer and I was like "what the fuck, you think you didn't do it?" To shorten the story I eventually got his insurance info and also called the police so they could get a report. Well I bring my car straight to the window replacing place to get it fixed and the quote is around $900 (I have a newer sports car hatchback rear window).
Well I get a call from the guy who was on the lawn mower later and he tells me to file it on my insurance because he won't file it on his because he talked to his lawyer and his lawyer told him there's no way I could prove that it was his lawnmower that did it.....He told me he would pay my deductible though.
FUCK THAT!!! He told me if he'd claim it on his insurance his would go up $700 a month because he already has made two claims on it. He said if I take him to court I'd lose so I shouldn't go that route.....I wanted to jump through the phone and choke him to death. This fucker broke my window but doesn't want to take responsibility so he's trying to get out of it.
To top it off this guy is very wealthy. I called the Sheriff in my parish and he told me that I should take him to small claims court because I would win....
My diet already has me very edgy right now and for this shit to happen REALLY REALLY pisses me off. I can't believe this fucker is trying to do this. Makes me want to just pay for the window myself and go and slash all of his tires.........Just thought I'd rant a little.....boy boy boy, some people!!!
