Man that sucks. It's kind of different here. Firt 4th outside a major city. I'm driving to work down the main street that goes from one side of town to the other. And all the empty parking lost people are shooting off all sorts of fireworks plus the city has the show going on. Really neat to watch so many different fireworks being shot off.

That sucks! In Florida it is illegal to possess fireworks that leave the ground and/or explode. However there are fireworks stands on damn near every corner. We bought this one for $50 last night that exploded about 100' up and put out 2 street lights...it was deafening. When we went to the shop I asked the kid for the biggest bang he gave me the "white box"...lol....I love blowing shit up.

I don't mind fireworks, even big ones, but living in a town home community and people are shooting fireworks off directly at my home, that shit is uncalled for. There are other places in the area to shoot them off. Not to mention, we are having a drought at the moment. Anything can catch fire.

Over here in Houston, they were real strict on the people shooting off fireworks illegally. They issued citations left and right.

Damn im like 15mins south of NC...I never knew they were illegal there....I guess this explaines why we have firework stores as large as a walmart on I95.
