      ya i couldnt deal with being in the sticks. im from jersey and even raleigh seems slow to me. i would move back home if i had to live in the sticks.

          I dont see how that could be. Different states use different point systems. The only thing I can think of is that AZ and PA share the same point system and thus your's got carried over.

            Not sure. It was almost ten years ago. I do clearly remember my insurance going from $95 /mo to $275/mo based on the points I had, newer car and AZ being the 4th highest state for insurance rates because of cars being stolen and taken to Mexico.

              i do know that if you get pulled over and a ticket in a state that you do not live in the points do not carry over to your license.

                I was going to say this. I live in NY and they are one of the worst states about points. If I were to get a ticket in PA, it would not show up on my record.

                  Hey Bouncer did you check out that link?Here in NC DMV points and Insurance points are similar, but different.If that ticket is considered a 2 point on the Insurance scale it will go up like %25.Oh and welcome to Raleigh neighbor.

                    I have points in MD that never followed me into PA. I even asked a MD state trooper if points follow you into another state and he stated "No".
