    Her job is in London and even though we have our hearts set on buying this place I'm now thinking "fuck this" I'm gonna tell her tonight that if she doesn't want to work there any more then chuck the job and I'll cover bills till she finds work outside London, maybe we should forget about the house now.

    I don't like letting someone/terrorist group bully me/us into changing our ways but life is too short anyway and I couldn't be without her
    Of course there is going to be risk where ever you go, but agree you should keep the house. The house isn't really the place that's going to be a target. They like public displays. Now her work might be a different story. What kind of place does she work at?

            The problem is that almost all Muslim countrys not only condone, they promote this shit.

            Point missles at every muslim country and then demand that they root out the terrorists themselves. If there is another terrorist attack, obliterate a city.
            The terrorists would dissapear.

            Sounds heartless, and in reality I typed this more out of anger than anything.

            The point is - you can't stop this stuff without help from Muslim nations.

                24 Hours later;
                Most of the underground network (subway in US speak) is back up and running
                People are back at work.
                Me and my fiance are still buying the house, we are not gonna let this stop us.
                My fiance is not at work today but only because work told staff not to come in so as to ease pressure on public services getting back running

                over 700 people were injured and the death toll is sure to rise from 37, but I say we should all carry on as normal so these terrorists don't win

                I found this speach from Nixon in 74 that catches the our feelings;

                "greatness comes not when things go always good for you, but the greatness comes and you are really tested, when you take some knocks, some disappointments, when sadness comes, because only if you have been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain."

                  Good for you much like after 9/11 we went ahead with our business as usual stopping for a moment to pay our respects to those who lost their lives on that day but other then that we went ahead with our lives if you live in fear then they won period.They feed off of fear like a hungry animal on it's prey but if you show them that fear is not a factor then their cause is in vein.

                  My favorite quote from the bible sums it up "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me"

                    "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies." Be successful and prosper despite their evil actions--keep on doing what you're doing and that'll show them that they can't win!

                        No reason to try and compare. They are equally awful and cowardly. The London attacks hit close to your heart just as the 9/11 attacks hit close to ours.

                          Looks like the bus was hit by a suicide bomber. At least there is one less terrorist fuck now. Not a good trade for the scores of innocent Brits but at least it's something.

                            I agree....the old addage "If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem" definately applies here. If they lack the morals to help on their own volition, then get compliance through serious threat.
