                Just remember

You and the Cap'n make it happen.

Man P.C. is so crazy right now. From the time I went to the gym til I got back back, fuel jumped up 10 cents. Long lines and a lot of stations are dry. That and the EOC issued some mandatory ecavuations in low lying areas so my wife thinks that we have to leave as well. Guess I will drink in Alabama.

I got a call from my sister who was in the keys for the last week, they were evacuated yesterday and flying home to NY today. She's a cop and with the recent events in England, the NYPD is on extra alert, so she's cutting her vacation short and going back to work.

I know the storm is predicted to go up to the Panhandle but after last year's hurricanes taking sudden changes in course I'm extra cautious. We're not supposed to get hit here in Tampa but I'm prepared.

My friend's daughter and mother are in the Panhandle now and are evacuating. The uncle tried to start up his generator just to make sure it was working and it's not! My friend was just here last weekend, thank goodness the weather was good for her visit.

Crazy stuff travelling to FL during hurricane season!

Everybody in that area, be safe this weekend-I'll be thinking of you. I hate these uncontrollable weather disasters!

damn he's a Cat 2 and heading to P'Cola. Everything is shut down here in P.C. and they called for evacuations at 3 p.m. and now we get nothing. And because my boy's wife is looped outta her mind, now RUm either. Oy Vey.

looks like it could still get back up to speed if it slows down over the Gulf. It is just a waiting game now.

only 10 months after IVAN and so many people still don't have their homes fixed... i hope this thing loses it's force and just turns into a nusense and not a disaster

I live in Baldwin County, Alabama. I am just finishing up repairs from Ivan. I had to cut short my vacation and will hole up in Atlanta until I can get home and asses the damage. If you don't know, Baldwin County is between Pensacola and Mobile.

Wishing all of you in the storm's path the best.

We had some winds, broken branches, extra rain, thankfully nothing bad.

I gotta say that this stuff is getting scary. You never know where these hurricanes will hit land until they do so.
