Stupid IPODs

I recieved a 40GB IPOD several months ago. I think its great to work out to. I have a shitload of music, so I was able to fill it. About 3 weeks ago it just stopped working, it wouldnt turn on or anything, so I took it to the apple store and they gave me a brand new one. Apparently the harddrive had failed.

Fast forward 3 weeks. 2 days ago I was at teh gym and my IPOD wouldnt play any music. It responded and everything, but wouldnt play. I am pissed at this point, because it is a brand new IPOD and I have no music to workout to. I push through my chest workout, carrying the stupid peice of junk in my pocket.

Yesterday I took it to the apple store again, and the guy tells me that it is the same problem as before and that the harddrive failed. The dude also accused me of breaking them on purpose or something. So now I have to wait a week to get my IPOD replaced again.

I am damn lucky that I still have like 7 months on the warranty, because if the peices of crap keep breaking like this every 2 weeks I am going to go through 8 of them.

Needless to say, I will not be buying another IPOD. For 400 dollars you think they would make them not break for no reason. I have heard so many stories of peoples IPODs failing, and you never hear that from any other brand. Apple is running a scam. You spend 400 bucks for an ipod that will only last a year.

I had an Ipod too, everyone loves them but I just wasnt into it much, I got an i-river instead. Also, I had the ipod for a day, dropped it once and it had a huge dent on it, very fragile.

The ipod has become a "cool" thing to have. I must see 100 fags a day with these fucking things on. All different colors and shit. I just hate them. Im still using my cd player in the gym and I refuse to change. If I get an MP3 player it damn sure wont be an ipod.

Its true bro. It is getting to the point where it is real trendy to have one. It is especially evident at my school. I go to a real yuppie ass college with a bunch of trust fund faggots. I swear to god every person has one, and they all walk around in between classes listening to their emo ass music and comparing which is more "real and underground" and shit. Bunch of pussies.

On a plane 2 weeks ago, it started skipping- and I couldn't turn the song, or even turn it off.

Then after that, the battery life has been completely shot. The battery says I've got 1/2 a battery, then all of a sudden it will tell me there is no more battery.

I'm going to the Ipod store when I get off work

what i dont understand is why people have to have the apple players though? There are like 20 other different companys that make MP3 players. Most companys are cheaper.

Well I got it because I use iTunes as my music sorter/player, so its pretty easy to just hook i my iPod and go to town. I suppose if used another media player, I wouldnt have got an iPod.

yeah. They break real easily. I spent a long ass time trying to fix it on my own, then just gave up. You might as well just take it to the apple store. They will try to fix it, regardless of if its under warranty. If they cant fix it and it is still under the 1 year warranty, they will go in the back and hand you a brand new one. DOnt bother trying to fix it yourself, the crap is just made poorly I believe.
