    ya, they wont replace him bro a new pup will give you that sence of having to take care of something again. when you walk in the door you will have that pup jumping around like your muggsy used to. its much better to walk into a house and get a welcome from your dog then to walk into a house and get nothing. go get a pup bro, it will be good for you.

      People can say what they want, but a dog is a member of my family just as much as a person is if not even closer than some of my family (if you think that's wrong tough shit, it's the way I feel). I'm very sorry to hear about your loss and you'll be in my prayers.

      I think it's up to the individual whether a new pup will help the grieving process or not. If you feel it will help then by all means get you a new pup. If you feel you're not ready, then there's no need to jump into buying a new dog. I'm sure you know this, but there are lots of dog owners here to help you through the grieving process. Like I said, you'll be in my prayers.
