It doesn't look to be much over eight feet if at all. I think it's more the angle of the photo and the fact it's underwater which can distort things quite a bit.
Here's a pic of a trainer with two dolphins, the one in front is pretty damn big too. It's impossible to judge the trainer's height but the average female is at least five foot five. So this dolphin would probably be in the eight foot range.
Maybe. I still think it looks at least twice as long as the man and that would put it around 11 to 12 feet. Could be though. No way to tell for sure I guess.
Nope, I was wrong. I had to ask someone to make sure but the video I saw was of jet skiers riding with a shark just under the surface of a breaking wave. That video was shot in the gulf towards Pensacola, I think. It was filmed from the air. Another recent incident happened at a surfing competition in Hawaii where a surfer was almost hit by a large shark as the wave broke over him. That was also on national news feeds about 2 weeks ago or less.
