Cuban interested in buying the Pirates?

I justh eard on PTI on ESPN that Mavs owner Mark Cuban is very interested in purchasing the Pittsburg Pirates... this would be awesome as Cuban has the money to spend and really cares about the Mavs and one can assume he'd do the same for the Pirates. This could bring the Pirates out of their small-market slump and make them a competitive team...

Did it say if he would bring them to Dallas or leave them in Pitt?

Yea, it would be a great market if he moved them to Dallas. The Texas Rangers are in Arlington and for anyone who lives in the Dallas Metroplex, it can be a real pain in the ass to go to a game. Espeacially in the summer since Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor are right there also. Not sure where they would put a stadium, maybe tear down Reunion Arena or put it on the edge of the Dallas near Mckinney or Frisco.

I don't follow sports to much, but isn't there some impressive story of how Cuban got the money to aquire a team to begin with...or am I thinking of the wrong person....or sport, lol...

Dallas would def be better. Is Pittsburg even a city anymore?

I've been to a ton of games (went to school 30mins from pittsburgh) and can attest that they are a blast and the city likes its baseball. On top of this they just got a new stadium so I don't see that team moving anywhere for a while. If Cuban leaves them in Pitts then I think it is a great thing.

PS. anyone watch Mark Cubans HD tv channels? They are awesome. He plays the sweetest movies on HD Net and HD Movies.

I should have stated that differently. I watch sports for entertainment, but I don't follow the in depth stories of the owners and coaches and what not.
